Four Tigers Invited to 2025 NFL Combine.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Four University of Missouri football student-athletes have been invited to participate in the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, set for February 27 – March 2 in Indianapolis, Ind.
Wide receiver Luther Burden III, quarterback Brady Cook, offensive tackle Armand Membou and wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. will represent the Tigers at this year’s event.
Burden III, a two-time First Team All-SEC selection, recorded a team-high 61 receptions for 676 yards (11.08) with six touchdowns in 2024. The St. Louis product ranked third in the SEC in receptions per game (5.08) and receptions (61) as well as 10th in total offense average per play (1.06) last season. He also climbed to No. 4 on the Tigers’ all-time receptions list (192), tied for fifth in receiving touchdowns (21) and sixth in receiving yards (2,263). Burden III concluded his career registering a reception in 34 consecutive contests to hold the 15th longest season streak nationally and the second longest in program history.
Cook, a 6-2, 212-pound St. Louis native, registered 201-of-321 (.626) passing attempts for 2,535 yards with 11 touchdowns and 87 rushes for 223 yards and five scores during his final season. He concluded his career with a 26-13 all-time record as the Tigers’ starting quarterback, which ranks as the second-most wins in program history. In addition, he finished No. 2 in program lore in career passing efficiency rating (143.53), No. 3 in passing yards (9,013) and 200-yard passing performances (26), No. 4 in total offense (10,222) and No. 5 in passing touchdowns. Membou, a 6-3, 325-pound Lee’s Summit, Missouri, product helped anchor a line that played a pivotal role for a Mizzou offense that led the SEC and ranked seventh nationally in time of possession (33:01) during the regular season. As a three-year regular for the Tigers, Membou blocked for an MU offensive line that paved the way for one of the most successful red zone offenses in the country over the last two seasons. This year alone, the Tigers scored on 46-of-50 (92.9 percent) trips inside the opposition’s 20-yard line, while averaging 164.46 rushing yards and 225.08 passing yards per game.

He totaled 100-plus receiving yards on two occasions against Buffalo and Arkansas and posted 50-plus yards 10 times. Against Oklahoma, the wideout notched his first two-touchdown performance since playing for the Sooners back in 2020. Wease Jr. concluded his collegiate career with 173 receptions for 2,610 yards (15.09) with 20 touchdowns. He was one of nine active FBS receivers this past season with four touchdown receptions in four different seasons and held a 27-game consecutive reception streak, including every game played as a Tiger.
