Texas’ Arch Manning inks NIL deal with Red Bull
Manning secures his wings, according to Red Bull.
Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning announced on social media his new name, image and likeness deal with the energy drink and extreme sports company Red Bull.
Manning’s name, image and likeness, or NIL, evaluation is currently $6.6 million, according to On3’s NIL rankings. Manning sits atop the nation’s NIL rankings, and he’s worth more than $2 million more than On3’s second-highest evaluation in Duke freshman forward Cooper Flag, who’s evaluated at $4.3 million. By comparison, Manning’s uncle and NFL Hall of Fame player Peyton Manning earned $7.7 million as part of his rookie contract back in 1999.
Even as an incoming third-year player at Texas, Manning opted to not sign NIL deals until officially becoming the starter during the offseason camp ahead of the team’s 2025 campaign.
“I wanted to earn my money, work hard, get to know the players. Kind of earn my way up.” Manning said during a recent interview
