The breakdown of this substantial sum included a £32,000 flat fee and an additional 40% of the assets recovered from the company. Moreover, there was a £112,836 obligation to repay a director’s loan that Derek had previously taken out.
Prior to his passing, Derek Draper had endured a prolonged battle with complications arising from COVID-19, which began in March 2020. During this challenging period, Kate Garraway assumed the role of primary caregiver, a responsibility that led to significant financial strain.
