NASCAR Honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on #MLKDay with Local Drives to Support the Unhoused in Charlotte and Daytona
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 20, 2025, NASCAR is taking a significant step in honoring the legacy of the civil rights leader by hosting local drives aimed at supporting the unhoused in two of its major office locations: Charlotte, North Carolina, and Daytona Beach, Florida. This initiative is part of the organization’s broader commitment to community service and social responsibility, with a focus on providing much-needed supplies to those in need.
In the spirit of Dr. King’s enduring message of equality, justice, and community service, NASCAR employees across both cities are coming together to collect essential items such as food, clothing, blankets, hygiene products, and other supplies for individuals experiencing homelessness.
