Phil Parkinson now facing major dilemma ahead of Reading, Wrexham fans may react badly

Wrexham are back in League One action on August 24th, facing off with Reading.

Phil Parkinson has enjoyed an excellent start to the 2024/25 League One season with his side.

the opening weekend to secure their first-ever three points in the division.

Following that clash, the Red Dragons went head-to-head with a promotion-chasing Bolton Wanderers this past weekend.

The game was expected to give a good indicator of how the Welsh outfit will fare in the current campaign as any sort of positive result against one of the top teams in League One would have been huge.

When all was said and done, Wrexham drew 0-0 with Bolton, extending their unbeaten start to the season and no doubt giving them a confidence boost when it comes to their promotion chances.

Arthur Okonkwo was lauded for his display against Bolton, making several fantastic saves to keep the home side out despite their eight shots on target.

Another player who shone in the goalless draw against Bolton was Sebastian Revan.

After scoring his first Wrexham goal while playing as a left wing-back in the League Cup defeat to Sheffield United, Parkinson opted to hand the defender another start this past weekend.

He won four ground duels, completed three successful dribbles, and made three clearances across ninety minutes, with Parkinson praising Revan heavily after the match.

After such an impressive showing against a top side, Revan has to keep his starting place for Wrexham’s next match.
