Rowley steps in as Toby is recalled
Matthew Rowley, 21 year old goalkeeper, has arrived on loan from Reading following the recall of Toby Steward to Portsmouth. Matt, who has signed initially until 27th November, goes straight into tomorrow’s squad for the game at Truro City and is eligible to play in next week’s FA Cup First Round tie against Harborough Town.
Matt, who is a product of Reading’s Academy, has featured in two first team match day squads for the Royals this season and is part of their Under-21, Premier League Two squad..
He has had previous loan spells at Bognor Regis Town, Beaconsfield Town and Dover Athletic, where he made nine National League South appearances.
