WNBA Shocking News: The Entire WNBA Is In Great Shock! As ‘Angel Reese’ Tests Positive During Pregnancy Test

Angel Reese Makes First Post After Wrist Surgery

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has been at the top of WNBA headlines for the past week after it was announced that she would miss the remainder of her rookie season. Reese suffered a season-ending injury that was listed as a “fractured left wrist.”

The rookie will be in a cast for six weeks and will start rehabilitation soon after. Following a successful surgery, Reese will take the next steps to get back into playing form and prepare for the 2025 WNBA season. She recently shared a picture with her fans to update them after surgery, which she was released from on Sept. 10. Reese posted the picture on Instagram with a thumbs-up.

Reese has made a name for herself as one of the biggest stars in the WNBA. She may be a rookie in the league, but she’s already one of the most marketable players in basketball. The 22-year-old star has over 4.1 million followers on Instagram, over 604K on X, and over 4.4 million followers on TikTok. The announcement that she would be missing the season, which she posted on her personal account on X, received over 7.7 million views and 18K retweets.

Reese capped off her rookie season averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. She was the only rookie averaging a double-double and led the WNBA in average rebounds while she was active.
