Good News: Hardie nominated for February Player of the Month
Ryan Hardie has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for February.
The forward is nominated alongside Dan James of Leeds United, Portsmouth’s Josh Murphy and Norwich City’s Josh Sargent.
Hardie only played 101 league minutes for Argyle in the month, but scored four goals in that time.
The Scot played a pivotal role in the Greens’ 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion, coming off the bench to net twice as Argyle came from behind.
11 days later, and shortly following his memorable winning goal against Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup, Hardie was firing again as he bagged a brace in our 5-1 win over Millwall.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The winner will be announced on Friday, 7 March.
