The USC Trojans continue their pursuit of building the best coaching staff in all of college football. Just two days after losing Assistant Linebackers coach Bryson Allen-Williams to Georgia, Lincoln Riley and D’Anton Lynn have filled the position.
Per 247 Sports, USC is expected to hire AG Howard as their new assistant linebackers coach.

AJ Howard served as the outside linebackers coach at App State for the last two years. Prior to that, Howard worked at Louisville and as an NFL scout with the New England Patriots.
Howard played safety at App State and for two years in the NFL.
He was named to the 35 Under 35 Class for 2024 by the American Football Coaches Association as a first-year App State assistant.
This is another solid hire as Howard is an up-and-coming coach. He will work alongside Rob Ryan in building an elite linebacker room.
