Sad news: Michael Jordan issued a strong warning to Bubba Wallace following a recent misunderstanding after making a final decision.
The Clark County School District Police Department, CCSD Engagement Unit, and NASCAR’s Team Penske hosted students during the NASCAR race on Sunday.
Students had the opportunity to be a part of the Fuel for Success program held at theLas Vegas Motor Speedway.
The program inspires students to participate in STEM education in imaginative ways.
Nearly 50 students from Cashman Middle School attended the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series and met driver Joey Logano.
Siobahn Fergiels the Cashman Middle School Behavior Strategist said, “We had the opportunity to come out and have a VIP experience presented by Pennzoil. We got the opportunity to go through the process and our students were doing a lesson on the force of motion. It’s been such an awesome experience that they get to see what they were doingin real-time.”
The students were able to get a behind-the-scenes look at the technology used in getting a race car on the track.
The students were selected because of a challenge at their school to design and build their dragster.
They were scored on speed, crash safety, design teamwork, sportsmanship, and the use of class time.
