Kelly Clarkson Fans Need to See Céline Dion’s Reaction to Her ‘My Heart Will Go On’ Cover

We all know Kelly Clarkson can slay pretty much any song she decides to sing on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Well, one such tune Kelly covered caught the attention of a world-renowned pop star, and she’s making sure the American Idol winner knows how much it meant to her.

During the September 27 episode of the NBC daytime series, Kelly had the audience in their feels with her heartfelt cover of Céline Dion‘s song “My Heart Will Go On” for her “Kellyoke” segment. After Kelly poured her heart out into the beautiful rendition of the Academy Award-winning track from Titanic, a video of her singing it caught Céline’s attention. As a result, Céline went on X (formerly Twitter) to shout out how emotional it made her to see Kelly’s version of her song. What’s more, Céline couldn’t help but voice gratitude for Kelly’s response to her singing comeback at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony back in July.

“Kelly, when I came back from the Olympics, I got to watch and listen to your reaction to my performance on the Eiffel Tower,” she began the emotional clip. “It was so sweet to hear you. Your voice was breaking and it touched me so tremendously. You were crying and then you made me start crying!”

“Now I just saw you singing ‘My Heart Will Go On,’ and I’m crying again!” she added. “You were absolutely incredible and fantastic. I loved it so much. I hope we can see each other in person soon, and I hope we’re not going to start crying. I love you so much!”

Upon seeing Céline’s emotional reaction to Kelly’s song cover, fans couldn’t stop begging the two to do something major for The Kelly Clarkson Show.
