Breaking News: Jerry Reinsdorf Agrees $875,020,000 Million Deal To Sell Off Chicago Bulls To New American Buyer

As the son of three elite-level athletes, it’s no secret that LaVar Ball has lofty ambitions for his family. During an appearance on the “What an Experience!” podcast, the infamous NBA dad revealed his latest goal: to see all three of his boys rep the Los Angeles Clippers.

“I want them all to play for the Clippers,” said Ball. “Cause here’s the thing I don’t want to go back to the Lakers on the fact of how they did Lonzo. So why would I bring the other two? Steve Ballmer, that’s my guy, I like him, I like his style. That’s what I tell him. My last name is Ball his last name is Ballmer, we’re supposed to ball more. He’s got the best thing, a whole new stadium coming up, and hopefully, by that time they can trade for Melo then say Lonzo ain’t good, and then let Lonzo be like ‘I am gonna sign with the Clippers.'”

LaVar Ball first entered the spotlight back in 2017 when his son, Lonzo, was drafted with the 2nd overall pick. As natives of Los Angeles, the Ball family has strong ties to the city and LaVar was happy to see his son represent his hometown team.

As Lonzo played through his rookie season, LaVar was constantly in the background, going viral for one wild quote after another. He took any and every opportunity he could to talk up his son and frequently found himself at the center of scrutiny for his outlandish statements.

Eventually, Lonzo was traded from the Lakers and sent to the Pelicans as part of the deal for Anthony Davis. While it was a no-brainer move for the Lakers at the time, LaVar saw it as the ultimate betrayal, and the family hasn’t looked back since.

A few years later, LaMelo joined the league and he was picked up with the 2nd overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets have been quick to take care of LaMelo but the team has had no success since he was drafted and repeated injuries have inhibited his development.

As for LiAngelo, he may have already missed his chance to join the league. Besides a concerning injury history, the guy has baggage after getting caught shoplifting a pair of sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store in China. He’s been exiled from NBA action ever since and it remains to be seen if he has the talent to earn his way back in.

So with all three of his sons currently separated, it makes sense that LaVar wants to see a world where they are all playing together. And in that scenario, would there be a better team than the Clippers?
