Two Bruins draft picks made their college decisions official this week, but neither will be on campus until 2025-26.
Kristian Kostadinski, the 6-foot-6 defenseman from Sweden, who the Bruins selected in the seventh round of the 2023 draft has committed to Boston College according to Mark Divver.
He’ll play for the USHL’s Dubuque Fighting Saints this year and will join Bruins’ 2024 first-round pick Dean Letourneau in Chestnut Hill in 2025.
He’ll be joined in Dubuque by Jonathan Morello. Boston took Morello, a left-shot center in the fifth round with the 154th overall pick in the 2024 draft. He spent last year with St. Michael’s of the Ontario Junior Hockey League and had 25 goals and 32 assists in 50 games last year.
He was originally slated to go to Clarkson, but he switched his commitment to Boston University.
